The Tasik Selatan, Taman Midah, Pandan Indah
and Serdang Chapters Chinese Chapters organised two banquets on 10th Oct and
12th Dec. 2000 to reach out to their friends and colleagues. Over 20 people gave
their lives to Jesus after hearing testimonies of life-changing experiences.
These Chapters have made a commitment to organise a series of Chinese banquets
in 2001 namely 30th Jan., 4th Apr., 6th Jun., 8th Aug., 10th Oct. and 12th Dec.

Hallelujah!, More than 100 people
received our Lord at an evangelistic Chinese banquet organised by the Kota
Kinabalu Chapter on 14th Oct. The speaker was Rev Oh Beng Khee.
An evangelistic banquet jointly organised by
Wisma Goldhill, KL Hilton and MUI Plaza Chapters on 22nd Oct resulted in 18
people being saved and five rededicating their lives to Jesus. The speaker was
Rev Peter Tsukahira.
On 8th Nov. the Kota Kinabalu Chapter invited
back Rev Oh to speak to their Chinese-speaking friends and, oh, what a harvest,
… another 230 people gave their lives to Jesus!
On 11th Nov., Central Region 12 (consisting of
PJ Old Town, PJ New Town and PJ Sect 8 Chapters) organised a special meeting
with Rev Samuel Doctorian. No count of decisions for Christ was made but at
least 100 people were blessed in healing, deliverance, rededication and
refreshing through the sharing and ministering of God’s Word.
Praise the Lord for the evangelistic work in
the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and thank Him for the people who came to
accept Jesus at the banquets organised by Kuala Trengganu Chapter and Kuantan
Chapter on 16th and 17th Nov respectively. Bro H T Long ministered in testimony
and songs in both banquets.

Ipoh Greentown Chinese Chapter
organised a Chinese Lunch Banquet on 16th Dec. to celebrate the new formation
and also to share the goodness of the Lord to their friends.Four people gave
their lives to Jesus after hearing some real-life testimonies.
To tell friends and colleagues about the
meaning of Christmas, PJ CP Tower (on 15th Dec.), KL Plaza Pantai (also 15th
Dec.) and KL MUI Plaza Chapter (on 22nd Dec.) organised special Christmas
Fellowship meetings. The time was spent making new friends, celebration,
sing-along Christmas Carols, dramas, testimonies and refreshment.
On 24th Dec. the Seremban Chinese Chapter
rented their Town Hall and invited their Chinese-speaking friends to celebrate
Christmas together. A total 89 tables was filled with Bro Kenny Foo and Bro
Ricky Ong shared their testimonies. Sixteen people responded to the invitation
to accept Jesus as their Lord.
At the FGBMF Family Outing held from 26-28
Dec., many rededicated their lives to Jesus through the Outreach Dinner at Awana
Kijal Resort, Trengganu. Datuk Paul Low ministered the Word of God. This event
was organised by the Klang Chapter.
We thank the Lord for sending His servants to
minister to us in various chapter meetings in the past few months. Among them
were Rev Bob Harrison, Rev Jonathan Quigley (both USA), Rev Sim Joo Teik and Rev
Danny Pollock (both Australia) and local speakers which include Rev Colin Hurts,
Ps Louis Rathan, Ps Daniel Leong, Bro David Koay and Bro Tan Teng Chai, just to
name a few.
