The National Board has formed a National
FGBMF Council as an informal body comprising of all Regional Directors
and Deputy Directors to discuss and implement the work of FGB in
Malaysia. In addition to these ex-officio members, the National Board
will appoint three additional members to the Council on a yearly
basis. The Council will meet twice a year and will be the body to
review the FGBMF ministry and make recommendation to the National
Board. The 1st National Council meeting is scheduled on Sat. 3rd Mar.
2001 and Bro Foong, Hoong Heng, Bro James Kui and Bro Lee Wei Min have
been appointed to sit in the Council for 2001.
As a reminder most Chapters are to
conduct their respective AGMs before end of Feb. 2001 and to submit
your reports soonest to the National Office. The National Board has
fixed 4th March 2001 to celebrate 21 years of FGBMF ministry in
Malaysia. It will be an Anniversary Dinner at the Crystal Ballroom,
Ming Court Vista Hotel, KL .
The objectives of the Dinner are

who have over the period contributed to the development and growth
of the ministry |

To reconfirm FGB Vision and
Mission |
| 3. |
To reconfirm to the Christian
community that FGBMF is still in the business of saving men |
| 4. |
To rejoice in the Lord’s work
and to launch into the next era with renewed confidence and
purpose. |
The Organising Committee consists of
Dr Peter Tong, Bro Lee Gee Koon, Dr Stephen Goh, Tan Sri Datuk Dr Khoo
Kay Peng, Elder Ang Chui Lai and Elder Timothy Phua with a working
committee to support them.
A minimum of 500 members including
spouses and guests are expected.
In view of the 21st Anniversary
Dinner, there will be no Men’s Camp in 2001. It is now tentatively
scheduled for March 2002. It has been suggested that a Weekend Prayer
meeting be held instead. Please watch out for further details.
