Banquets And Special Meetings

The Kota Bharu Chapter had an eventful Banquet on 19 April where 26 people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour. Prior to the banquet, Bro Wong Hong Meng conducted the training on the 7 Habits of A Happy Man.

On 20 April, a Hi-Tea Fellowship meeting was organized by Kuala Trengganu Chapter. The National Board Directors and some Central Board members were present to support including ministering the Word of God and in testimonies.

The Holy Spirit moves in the East Coast – at the 21 April Banquet organised by Kuantan Chapter, 25 people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour. Hallelujah!

A FGBMF Garden Party in open-tent was held on 21 April. The meeting was organized by the KL City Square Chapter, conducted in English translated to Mandarin with Rev Gerald Bradley as the speaker. Five adults and about 20 children gave their lives to Jesus with another 5 rededicated their lives.

Praise and thank God for the 35 people who accepted Jesus at the Chinese Banquet organized by Kuching Chapter on 5 May. The speaker was Ps John Koe of Singapore. Great is His faithfulness for rewarding the efforts of the Sarawak brothers.

After 3-month of preparation, Hallelujah!, More than 100 people received our Lord at an evangelistic Chinese banquet organised by the Combined JB Chapters (City Centre, Pelangi and Perling) on 18 May. Bro Tan Koon Swan shared his personal testimony with message by Rev Oh Beng Khee. There was great unity through the network of 20 over local churches and para-church groups. Family by family and table by table, people gave their lives to Jesus. Zan Mei Zhu!

On 21 May as part of Getting-to-know-you Pastors Fellowship, the National and Central Region Board met and had a wonderful time of fellowship with about 25 Klang Valley Tamil pastors at Sunway Lagoon Hotel, PJ.

A Banquet in English was organised by the Seremban Chapter on 22 May with Bro John Dohnt as the speaker.  Praise the Lord despite only two persons responded and gave their lives to Jesus. At the healing altar, about 20 responded to the call.

KL Vistana and Bukit Bintang Chapters  organized a 40-pax Hi-tea gathering in English on 9 June with Bro Louis Manuel as the speaker. Only one responded to the salvation call yet none was discouraged.

On 16 June, a Banquet in English was organised by Kinrara Puchong Chapter.  Bro Derek Lam, Joe Ezekiel and Philip Chieng gave their testimonies during the meeting and 6 persons accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. Praise Him!

On 23 June, a Banquet in English and Chinese was jointly organized by the Klang South and North Chapters.   Bro David Chiang and Bro Tan Ah Beng shared their personal testimonies with Bro Tan Tek Seng and Dr Peter Tong ministered the Word. Thirty people responded to the healing call with 11 people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour.

A Banquet in Chinese was organised by Sitiawan Chapter on 4 July with Rev Oh Beng Khee as the speaker. A group of KL brothers was present to support. Over 30 people came to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour, Praise the Lord!

We thank the Lord for sending His servants to minister to us in various chapter meetings in the past few months. Among them were Rev Philip Thomas and Rev R G Vargis (both of India), Ps Ong Yong Kwong (Australia) and Bro Wiman Chew (New Zealand) and local speakers, which include Ps Israel Low and Bro Lim Eng Hoe just to name a few.
