FGBMF Malaysia was once again the host
organiser of the Second Asian Chinese Convention held from 3 to 7
August at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The convention, which had
as its theme, 'NEW MILLENNIUM, NEW HOPE - PRESS ON' was co-ordinated by Tan Tek Seng and his team. It was another great
success, FGBMF 'Malaysia BOLEH' - God's way.
The convention was attended by 1,452 delegates. Of which about 500
from overseas namely from China, Hong Kong, USA, New Zealand,
Australia, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan while the rest
were locals including 200 Chinese pastors and full-time workers.
Bro Hugo Chan, Bro Andrew Chang and Ps Dennis Balcombe (all of Hong
Kong); Bro Tong Tseng (Taiwan), Ps Zhang Boli (USA) ministered to the
Convention delegates. Rev Oh Beng Khee of Singapore preached at the
evangelistic rallies held over two nights. About
2020 guests participated in the Grand Opening Banquet and the
estimated attendance for the 2-night rally was 2,500 people on
each night. Over 600 people accepted Jesus as their personal
