Banquets And Special Meetings

An evangelistic banquet in English was jointly organised by the combined Ipoh Chapters (Ipoh, Kinta & Tasik) on 21 July. Ten people were saved and five who rededicated their lives to Jesus. The speaker was Dr. John Wu.

On 14 August, a banquet in English was organized by Sungai Petani Chapter with Bro. Kurasawa as the speaker. Six people responded to the invitation to accept Jesus as their Lord!
 

A banquet in Tamil was held on 27 August at Port Dickson by Seremban Chapter. Bro. Stephen Kanapathy ministered while Bro Paul Arokiasamy gave his testimony. Praise the Lord for the 11 souls saved and the good response on the healing call! Praise the Lord.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for the 3 souls saved at an evangelistic Chinese banquet organized also by Seremban Chapter on 28 August. Bro. Samuel Tan ministered in English with interpretation into Chinese. Bro Matthew and Ricky Lim gave their testimonies.

On 3 September, a meal fellowship was held in Malacca with local pastors.

On 5 September, 450 people attended a Banquet in English (interpreted to Chinese) by Sitiawan Chapter with Rev Alfred Ee as the speaker. Many local pastors also attended the function. More than 100 people responded to the altar call for healings and salvation. Praise the Lord!

7-9 September, fourteen members were 'airlifted' to Surabaya, Indonesia to support two banquets and conduct the Seven Habits of a Happy Man teaching session there. Thirty souls at the banquet came to accept Jesus!

Hallelujah! Zan Mei Zhu! For the people who gave their lives to the Lord at a Chinese banquet held on 15 September by the Penang Tanjung Chinese Chapter after hearing how the Lord had transformed the life of Bro Tan Koon Swan.

On 17 September, the Taiping Chapter organized a banquet in English People responded to the altar call but no count was taken.

The KL Puduraya Chapter organized a banquet in English on 6 October with Ps Peter Tsukahira as the speaker. Praise the Lord for the planting of His Word in the lives who attended.

The Sitiwan Chapter held a Seminar of Christian Living on 15-16 October with Bro Benny Ong of FGBMFI Singapore as the speaker.

Praise the Lord for the evangelistic works in Sarawak and thank Him for the people who came to accept Jesus at the banquets organised by Kuching, Bintulu and Miri Chapter on 27 October, 3 & 4 November respectively. Ps David Silver ministered (with Chinese interpretation) in all the banquets.

The combined chapters in Kota Kinabalu organized a banquet in English on 12 November. Fifteen people saved!

The Alor Setar Chapter had a Chinese banquet on 17 November with 2 brothers testifying. Another 15 people responded to salvation call.

On 19 November, PJ Old Town, New Town, Section 8 and SS 25 Chapters invited back Rev Samuel Doctorian to speak to their friends and relatives in a banquet in English and what a harvest … 11 people gave their lives to Jesus with others rededicated their lives.

A 3 December banquet by Malacca Chinese Chapter saw many people responded to the altar call but no count was taken.

A banquet in English was held on 5 December by the combined Taman Tun, CP Tower and Brickfields Chapters with Rev Oh Beng Khee as the speaker. No count of decisions for Christ was made but at least 20 people were blessed in healing, deliverance, rededication and refreshing through the sharing and ministering of God's Word.

A 8 December banquet in Cantonese was organized by KL Sungai Wang, Taman Midah and PJ Newtown Chapters to reach out to their friends and colleagues. Over 40 people gave their lives to Jesus after hearing testimonies of life-changing experiences.

We thank the Lord for sending His servants to minister to us in various chapter meetings in the past few months. Among them were Ps David Collins (Australia) and local speakers, which include Ps Rou Muttiah and Bro. Edmund Ng just to name a few.
