A Chinese Training session was conducted by Bro Tan Tek Seng for the Ipoh Greentown Chapter on 3 November.

The KL Wisma Goldhill chapter meetings on Monday and the combined Wednesday prayer meeting have been relocated to the 21st Floor Wisma Goldhill.

On 10 September, the Central Region Chapter Presidents and Field Representatives met with the Central Board over fellowship meal. It was mentioned during the meeting that there are no clear guidelines pertaining to Chapters involved in social ministries. It was decided that the National Board (represented by the National Secretary and Treasurer) would propose some guidelines on this. In view of the increasing cost of living, it was suggested that a minimum of RM 100 be given to full time workers as honourarium for their time and efforts to share at our lunchtime meetings. It also suggested that meetings should not be ‘churchy’ but rather to encourage the flow of testimonies, praying for needs, to create opportunities for members to serve and to grow in one’s spiritual gifting, to create greater rapport, and to invite more to attend our meetings irrespective of whether they were non-believers or believers.

With effect from 1 December, the KL Mutiara (Hilton) Chapter will not be holding lunchtime meeting for 5 months as the hotel will be under major renovation. The Chapter will instead meet twice monthly for a fellowship meal, sharing and prayer.

The Central Region will hold its monthly meeting for Group Coordinators, Field Representatives, Chapter Presidents and Members-at-large on every 2nd Monday evening beginning January 2002.
