The
excitement generated in the Chinese-speaking chapters continued to
experience tremendous growth. With committed men carrying the
gospel to towns throughout Malaysia, many souls have been added
into the kingdom of God. The following were their recent work:
August 24, Malacca Banquet
organised by the Malacca Chinese Chapter with FGB brothers giving
their personal testimonies and 50 people accepting Jesus.
August 29, Sungei Petani Rally
organised by Sungei Petani Chapter and networking with local
churches with Rev Oh Beng Khee as the speaker (in Hokkien). Over
10 people responded to the altar call.
September 6, Batu Pahat Banquet
organised by the combined Johor Bahru Chapters with Bro Tan Koon
Swan as the speaker. Bro Han and Choong Lan Chu shared their
personal testimonies and Bro David Chin presented a special song
item. Sixty souls were saved.
September 7, Kluang Banquet
organised by the combined KL, Johor Bahru & Kluang Chapters
and again with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. Bro John Tan and
Anthony Ong shared their personal testimonies and Bro David Chin
presented a special song item. Another sixty people gave their
lives to Jesus.
September 16, Seremban Banquet
organised by the Seremban Chinese Chapter with FGB brothers giving
their personal testimonies and 80 people responding to the altar
call.
September 19, Klang Banquet with
Rev Oh Beng Khee as the speaker with 150 people gave their lives
to Jesus.
September 26, Ipoh Parloh Banquet
with Dr Lay Keu Neu as the speaker. Over 20 people responded to
the altar call.
October 4, Bentong "Bak-Kut-Teh"
Banquet with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. Over 180 people
responded to the altar call.
October 6, Raub "Bak-Kut-Teh"
Banquet and again with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. Over 200
people responded to the altar call.
October 17, Central
Region Chinese Annual Members Conference at KL, 88 members
attended.
October 25, KL Bi-lingual Banquet
with Bro Hugo Chan as the speaker. Over 80 people received Jesus
into their hearts.
October 26, Penang Banquet with
Bro Hugo Chan as the speaker. Over 60 people responded to the
altar all.
