Banquets And Special Meetings

While the Chinese-speaking brothers experienced tremendous growth and witnessed revival, the English-speaking brothers continued to press on despite the slow response to their labour. Let us not become tired; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. The following were their recent endeavour: 

17 January Special meeting at KL with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker with 26 people coming forward to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour.

29 March Banquet at Kuantan with Ps Ralph Parker as the speaker with 26 people coming forward to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour.

31 March Banquet at Seremban with Ps David Loo as the speaker with 7 people coming forward to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour.

12 April Banquet at Penang with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. Seventy people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour.

30 April Banquet at Klang with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. Hallelujah! Another seventy people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour.

17 May Banquet at Ipoh with Rev Paul Ang as the speaker. Twenty people said YES to Jesus as their personal Saviour.

We also thank the Lord for sending His servants to minister to us in various chapter meetings in the past few months. Among them were Rev Graham Steele (Australia), Rev Peter Driscoll (New Zealand) and local speakers like Bro Hamir Singh, Bro K K Lim and Bro David Ong, just to name a few.

Kindly inform the National Office of your pre- and post- event if your chapter or region has a banquet or special meeting.

Coming events:

1 August Bilingual Banquet (Chinese & English) in Bintulu with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. (Call Paul Raja 013 - 844 1604 for details)

2 August Bilingual Banquet (Chinese & English) in Miri with Bro Tan Koon Swan as the speaker. (Call Dr Peter Tham 013 - 830 3777 for details)

FGBMFI Taiwan will be the organiser of the 1st World Chinese Convention (in Mandarin with English interpretation) to be held at Asiaworld Plaza Hotel in Taipei on 2 - 4 October 2003 with Pastor Mike Connell and Rev Kou as speakers. The National Office is mobilising a group to represent FGBMF Malaysia. The tentative 4-days/3-nights trip includes an evangelistic dinner and is estimated to cost RM3,000. Those interested please contact the National Office for more details.
