Many of the committee and members have
testified the goodness of the Lord upon their lives both in their
professions and careers and family life. I believe as many of us put our
hands on the plough, we have experienced the touch of the Lord to
transform our lives from one degree to another. Truthfully, we would like
to see the Chapter grow deeper and deeper under the anointing of the Holy
Spirit. We share our burdens and joys together. We believe the Lord will
want us to move a step closer to Him so that we will move out to further
extend our tent with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Recently, two
members experienced difficulties in breathing, in fact, one literally
experienced a cardiac problem. However, through our concerted prayers, He
delivered both of them from the clutch of the enemy. They are both well
and fine now.
I am very thankful to the Lord who led us
then to start the Chinese Chapter in 2001. Since then, we have grown not
only in number but also in learning more from His faithful men who share
with us from the very truth of His Word. Regularly we now have over 40
people faithfully attending the weekly meeting. The Chinese Chapter which
meets every Thursday is led by Bro Ng Kim Fatt with also some 40 regular
attendees. Often, we share our burdens with each other and many a time
managed to overcome our problems which at times seem insurmountable. We
have seen the tremendous anointing of the Lord upon the lives of the
committee and members. Many lives have been transformed under the
anointing of the Holy Spirit.
I always believe there is much measure of
faith which the Lord would want us to exercise in the coming year. In
addition, I believe He will carry both the English and Chinese Chapters
through in spite of our weaknesses if we persevere and trust in His
