Three FGB members
together with some friends and family members visited Sri Lanka
from 22 to 28 January, 2004 as tourists and at the same time to
encourage the FGB brothers there.
They were invited
to a fellowship dinner organised by the FGB brothers in Colombo
on January 26, 2004. There were thirty-six (36) people in the
assembly. Sad to say, the meeting started off without any
worship nor an opening prayer. It was likened to that of a
social gathering of worldly nature.

All three (3) of us were invited to speak to the assembly (and we were the
only speakers for the night).
Bro. Lee Gee Koon briefed them
about the FGBMF in Malaysia and recited some testimonies of the activities in
Malaysia.
Bro. C.S. Lim of the KL Bangsar
Chapter gave a personal testimony about his involvement in the FGB activities
and shared on their combined works that had brought about unity to a number of
churches in (North Perak) Malaysia.
Bro. Joshua Ong urged them in
the area of renewal and commitment in their Christian walk.
The overall feedback (as
reported by their National President Bro. Sunil in his letter to Bro. John Ong
of Hong Kong) was very encouraging and positive. They acknowledged they were
indeed blessed for having us.
