Seven hundred delegates attended the 22nd Asian Convention hosted by FGBMFI Singapore from 12 to 14 August.

FGBMF Malaysia had the biggest overseas contingent with 175 members. Our Chinese Happy Men also provided the music and led one of the praise and worship sessions. Representatives also came from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka and Singapore.

The keynote speaker was Bro. Ed Silvoso, founder and president of Harvest Evangelism and author of best-selling books, That None Shall Perish and Anointed For Business. He shared with great insight on strategies to integrate the church and marketplace partners in order to fulfill God’s mandate to all the nations. He challenged and motivated the participants about the marketplace ministry they were in.

Bro Silvoso also held a session on Women: God’s Secret Weapon based on his other book, Prayer Evangelism, Women: God’s Secret Weapon.

A special guest at the convention was Bro Stephen Shakarian, the youngest son of FGBMFI founder, Demos Shakarian, who reminded participants about the vision that God gave to his father. Another guest speaker, Rev David Lim, Senior Pastor, Grace Assembly of God, Singapore, greatly impacted the participants with his teaching and impartation on the spiritual gifts.

The host speakers were Bro. Tony Tseng, chairman of Global Chinese Outreach, FGBMFI and Bro. Khoo Oon Theam, chairman of the Asian Council and National President of FGBMFI, Singapore.

At the evening banquet, many were blessed by the testimonies of Bro. Hugo Chan, chairman of the China Council, FGBMFI and Dr Abraham Tong, National President of FGBMF Malaysia. The ladies - comprising Sis. Alice Tsoi, Sis. Sarah Tong, Sis. Jennifer Tseng and Sis Maisie Khoo - also imparted blessings during the panel session.

The participants can truly said they were blessed because they came and each of them left Singapore with a personal touch from our Lord Jesus Christ.
