The FGBMF is a
spiritual organization and not a business corporation nor a social
club or service organization. Nonetheless, it does have an
organization structure, a constitution, rules and by-laws, policies
and procedures.
It being a spiritual
organization, the owner is God whereas secular organizations are owned
by their members.
Our main organizational
objective is to do God's will - to achieve the Vision
and Mission entrusted to us.
The FGBMF leaders are
selected by spiritual insights as clearly defined and expressed in the
following scriptures: Ex.18:21 & Acts1:21-26.
There are no controlling members or shareholders to select a leader;
nor is the process through popular voting. The basis for selection
solely rests on the candidate's spiritual maturity, commitment,
character and charisma (a divinely inspired gift or power, inspired
and bestowed by the Holy Spirit). We do not seek worldly charisma -
the exceptional ability to attract and influence others; marked
personal charm or magnetism.
We endeavour to do
God's will and to glorify God by being a servant to others (Matt.20:27).
We do not work for monetary compensation, status, recognition, job
satisfaction, self satisfaction, power and business contacts nor use
power and authority or power of persuasion in our holy servitude.
Our sole purpose is to
achieve what God wants us to do at whatever level He places us at.
When confronted with
conflicts, the issues are amicably resolved by applying Matthew
18:15-20 unlike the world using specific processes, procedures,
politics and public relations.
We are called, chosen
and have responded to God's call to join a spiritual organization. In
the secular sector, corporate servants are usually recruited and
members volunteer to serve in a social/service organization.
We may leave the FGBMF
should God call us to do something else within His will. We do not
seek for greener pasture because we serve the same master in the same
mission field.
FGBMF members are Called
and Chosen. They are Faithful for they know exactly why
they are in FGBMF, are serious about their mission, with a
servant-heart, willing to make all necessary sacrifices, face all
adversities, want to grow spiritually and know their eventual reward.
The FGBMF must remain
firm and united in Vision, Mission and Organization. We need to
recognize the institution as a spiritual organization, to own the
Vision and be committed to the Mission, to respect the organizational
structure, the policies and procedures and with the sole purpose to
serve God faithfully as a Called, Chosen and Faithful
member.
In addition, we are to
respect and value each other's role and contribution to the FGBMF
ministry, to keep the bond of love for each other and to pray for the
Holy Spirit to guide us with wisdom, sensitivity and love.
