The year 2005 will soon end, leaving us with much to be thankful
for, but also with much on what to reflect on and so set our
course for the challenges that we must confront wisely with
God’s help in the days ahead.
I would like to
thank all who laboured together with me during the transition
period. I am indeed most grateful and appreciative of all your
individual inputs because without all your concerted efforts
there would not be the FGBMF ministry.
Looking back, it
was a year of consolidation and implementation of the
‘structure’ bequeathed by our late Dr Abraham Peter Tong as we
went up to Fraser’s Hill to seek God’s guidance and came down
ministered by the Lord with VISION INTENSIFIED.
The Fellowship is
now ‘fine-tuned’ with the new leadership established and
emphasising on unity, leadership development, character, vision
intensification and not disregarding the responsibility to reach
out to the countries delegated to us by the Asian Council.
Undoubtedly 2006
will be a busier year as we seek the Holy Spirit to lead us on.
Emphasis is on the following:
|
•
|
To intensify prayer for all functions
and events.
|
|
•
|
To develop enlightened and committed
chapter leaders.
|
|
•
|
To target ‘market leaders’ in outreach
lunches and dinners
|
|
•
|
To train more ‘trainers’.
|
|
•
|
To visit by National Board members to
all five Regions to encourage members.
|
|
•
|
To interact with church pastors to
bring greater unity in the body of Christ.
|
|
•
|
To continue the path of transformation
to holiness.
|
 As we celebrate
the festive season and usher in the New Year, let your light so
shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify
God.
I wish you and
your family a Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.
God Bless and In
His Service,
Lee Gee Koon – National President |
