“Not by Might nor by Power but
by My Spirit’, says the Lord of Hosts”
(Zechariah 4:6)
The 3-day Men’s Camp 2006 held from
31 March-2 April saw a personal invitation from the Almighty God
accepted by...men from the various chapters in Malaysia. Those
who accepted were prepared to meet their Master, open their
hearts to be examined, cleansed, and dealt with in the manner
deemed fit by the Lord. Each delegate was willing to live the
life they were called to live: to be the salt and light in the
marketplace. The level of expectancy was high among the men at
the camp.

Ps Collin |
The venue, Century Mahkota Hotel,
in the historic city of Melaka, rocked as the praise & worship
team welcomed the presence of the Holy Spirit in one accord. God
from His inner temple heard the resounding praises and the
yearnings of His beloved servants that He descended and made His
presence felt among them.
The praise and worship sessions
throughout the duration of the camp were executed in true
servant-hood fashion, humbly glorifying the Name of Jesus,
enthroning Him and according to the most high Jesus of Nazareth,
the majesty of the King of kings. Hallelujah! The first session conducted by Ps
Collin Gordon, a senior minister of the Trinity Community
Centre, Petaling Jaya and an anointed servant of a Mighty God,
proved to the delegates His Holy presence, by a series of sharp,
accurate revelations that sent brothers who were ministered
reeling in shock as they were called by name or by signs and
wonders!
Ps Collin Gordon told the camp
participants to throw their old nature and get a new nature-the
nature of God! He emphasised that the new nature came with the
Power of God. He said, “Don’t fuse the enemy with the nature of
God.” (Exodus 6:17)
Ps Gordon message focussed on:
•
Turn away from sin |
•
Make a confession |
•
Pray and seek His face |
•
Make a commitment
He said, “All of us have sinned and
fallen short of the Glory of God. Revival cannot take place if
there is no repentance and repentance follows revival.”
2 Chronicles. 7:14 “If my people,
who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and
seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their
land.”
Based on the verse Ps Gordon
stress that:
•
We must identify our repentance |
•
Act upon God’s intention, and |
•
We will be free to experience the
illumination. It is a contrite heart (Is.57:15) that one need to
have for the Lord to forgive.
| |

Seeking forgiveness with a
contrite heart. Eph.4:8 “...live as Children of the Light.” |

Dr Lay from the House of Joy |
Dr. Lay Keu Neu of House of Joy,
Mantin, Negri Sembilan, ministered in tandem with Ps Collin,
tirelessly leading the camp delegates forward in their quest to
leave the past and move on to a transformed, new life of faith.
Dr. Lay said, “The Will of God is
for you to seek Him so that you can be you can be cleansed by
grace and faith. Total deliverance is possible through the
building of our faith in the Word of God.”
He emphasised that the building
of faith is subject to the following:
•
Our lives need to be cleansed |
•
Father God to discipline us |
•
A heart of humility
He added that transformation was
necessary for people to serve God and not self nor satan. To
protect their life they must trod the kingdom of satan under
their feet!
Dr. Lay also spoke on the
variables of rejection with regards to:
•
Self-protective walls |
•
Lusts (Substitutes for love) |
•
Rebellion (attempt to fight for love) |
•
Perfection (attempt to buy love) |
•
False compassion |
•
False responsibilities (attempt to
love others)
Pertaining to the standard of
God’s Love, he mentioned the following:
•
Unconditional Forgiveness |
•
Overcome evil with God |
•
Love the unlovables |
•
Obedient to the Word of God |
