The
Launching Of The Worldwide Business Park Chapter
It was a fine day
towards the end of 2005 and the sun was out high up in the
clear, blue sky when Bro. Charlie Yeo the field
representative for the Central Region stopped to fill gas
for his motorcar. He was then travelling to Klang and was
passing Shah Alam when he called out the name of the Lord
and claimed the formation of a chapter at the Worldwide
Business Park (WWBP).
Two weeks
later, Bro Joseph, an acquaintance met and invited Bro
Charlie for lunch. Much to his amazement, Bro Joseph took
him to WWBP. Bro Charlie asked his host why he selected the
place for the appointment. The latter replied that he had an
office in block 2 on the 5th floor. Praise the Lord, and in
all earnestness, Bro Charlie spoke to Bro Joseph to initiate
the setting up of a FGBMF chapter. Bro Joseph, confided that
during one of his quiet times, the Lord had distinctly
expressed the desire for him to set up an altar in his
office.

USJ 1(Summit) Subang held its first luncheon banquet at
Summit Hotel on 8th July 2006. Two personal testimonies were
shared by Bro Damien Chua and Bro John Param to show the
power and glory of Jesus.
The speaker for the occasion was Bro Dr Andy Lim from Ipoh.
Those present enjoyed the luncheon spiced with lively jokes
from the speaker in his message to demonstrate the power,
love, and gentleness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Ten people gave their lives to Jesus at the gathering. |

“Be healed in the Name of Jesus” |
The
president, Bro Danny Kuan, commented that the harvest was
only made possible by the commitment of the members who
prayed diligently for the success of the luncheon meet.
Praise the Lord!
On August 18,
2006, at the Grand Ballroom of the Eastin Hotel, hosted by
FGBMF Central Region, more than 300 people had the
opportunity to hear Ravi Zacharias, a man of God.
Widely
accepted as one of the greatest apologist of our time,
Ravi Zacharias is blessed with the amazing ability to
hold one’s attention despite the listener’s diverse
background. Heading Ravi Zacharias International
Ministries, he travels the length and breadth of the
world to defend the truth and to be the Lord’s

The FGBMF successfully planned and carried out former
Hong Kong heartthrob movie star, Mark Kee’s Malaysian
evangelistic programme from 15 September till 25 September
2006. It was coordinated by Bro Jimmy Leong, from the
northern region, and assisted by several FGBMF members from
other regions too.
The tour took
the team to the length and breadth of the country. All in
all 17 meetings were held during the 10-day tour. It
included six banquets, 10 church meetings and one street
programme. From a total congregation of 3,890 people, 225
responded the altar call and gave their lives to Jesus
Christ. |
