Bro. Tan Tek SengBro. Tan Tek Seng was saved and baptized in 1993. He joined the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship in 1996 and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the ministry of the late National President, Dr. Abraham Peter Tong.

In the same year he was appointed president of Taman Connaught Chapter where he served faithfully for two years. At the FGBMFI Asian Convention in Hong Kong in 1998 his passion for the ministry was activated and he committed himself to serve wholeheartedly in the FGBMF Malaysia.

Bro. Tek Seng’s commitment to the ministry led him to accept the post of Central Regional Treasurer in 2000. The National Board recognized his zeal and dedication and appointed him to organize the first FGBMFI Asian Chinese Convention in 2000.

The success of this convention more than convinced all FGBMFI leaders in Asia that Bro Tek Seng do an encore and organize the 2nd Asian Chinese Convention the following year. This was the spark for the growth of the Chinese-speaking community work in FGBMF Malaysia. He held the post of Central Regional Director from 2001 to 2003. From 2004 he served as National Director of Evangelism.

The Bible says in Proverb 1:5 that “A man of understanding will attain wise counsel”. Bro. Tek Seng’s spiritual growth in the ministry has enabled him to see things from God’s viewpoint and he is thankful to the National Board members to whom he is accountable and through whom he has received counseling and nurturing.

Bro. Tek Seng, a mechanical engineer by training is the owner and manager of an established business in the IT industry. He has been married for 30 years to Sis. Tinkie and they are blessed with three children.

Bro. Tan Tek Seng and his family worship at SIB, KL. He is also a council member of the SIB Chinese Church.
