Psalm 150 leapt out
of the Bible as the multitude of more than 700
members and guests of the Full Gospel Business
Men’s Fellowship praised God with the sounding
of the trumpet, praised Him with the harp and
lyre, praised Him with tambourine and dancing,
praised Him with the strings and flute, praised
Him with the clash of cymbals, praised Him with
resounding cymbals.

‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord’
was the opening night’s highlight to the Asian
Convention held at The Palace of the Golden
Horses, Mines Resorts, Kuala Lumpur, from 23-25
November 2006. |

The praise and worship celebration led by Bro.
Chee Wah Lee of the Church of the Tabernacle of
David, Kuala Lumpur, was a testimony of the
reverence and love of God’s faithful people on
earth, numbering three hundred and sixty-five
(365) delegates from twelve countries, namely
from Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong,
Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore,
the United Kingdom, the United States, Taiwan
and Vietnam. They enthroned their awesome and
mighty God to bless the proceedings of the 3-day
annual event. |

Ps. Peter
Tsukahira. |
The Asian Convention’s theme was “God’s Tsunami
in the Market Place.” Pastor Peter Tsukahira of
the Carmel Assembly in Jerusalem, a noted
marketplace minister, was the principal speaker
with Pastor Chew Weng Chee, Senior Pastor of
Sidang Injil Borneo church (Kuala Lumpur),
speaking in tandem.
Quoting Haggai 2:6,
Ps Peter Tsukahira, likened the imminent change
that was coming to the world to that of the
tsunami as a preparation of God’s people in the
marketplace ministry. Like the tsunami that
causes a devastating effect to everything in its
path FGB members must recognize those changes as
they come and ride those waves. The Christian
business men are to impact the world with God’s
Word and to transform society with the Gospel.
Jesus spent His time on earth preaching and
teaching in the marketplace. His was a street
ministry and called on the common business men
to follow Him, to work for Him in the fields
‘for the harvest is plentiful but the workers
are few’. At the end of the day God was going to
reward them.
In Mathew 20:1-16
He hired workers at different periods and at the
end of the day gave each of them a fair and
equitable wage. He said, “Those who are last
will be first, and those who are first will be
last.” Every FGB member is called to work and
must respond for ‘pay day’ will soon be upon
them.

Rod Winter (Vice-President Australia) & I wish
to express our gratitude for the invitation to
attend your Asian Convention 2006. We were
touched by the warmth and sincerity of your
reception and friendship. We feel very
privileged to be part of what God is doing in
FGBMF in Asia and have been tremendously blessed
by both the fellowship with all our Asian
brothers and the teaching of Ps. Peter Tsukahira.
He has challenged us in many areas and we trust
that God will show us how to put this into
action as we take this teaching and anointing
back to Australia.
We know that much prayer is still required. We
look forward to more joining us in coming to
next year’s Convention and to hearing more of
how God is using FGBMF mightily to expand His
kingdom throughout Asia.

State Director, South Australia
I
had this interpretation of the convention. I
likened the venue the ‘Palace’ as the House of
God, the place prepared for King Jesus’
presence. The ‘Golden Horses’ aptly describe the
FGBMF as unique, set apart, special, and the
apple of the master’s eye. Being market place
people, the members were literally Work Horses!
As speakers, both, Ps Peter Tsukahira and Ps
Chew were specially invited and anointed for the
occasion. Both were former marketplace
professional businessmen. At the opening banquet
the kingship of Jesus Christ was evident and
appropriately declared.
A
word of thanks to the organisers for every thing
went well in clockwork fashion as scheduled.
Praise the Lord for no untoward incidents
throughout the convention.
