The National Men’s Camp 2009 attracted a total of 79 participants from all over Malaysia. It was held from 26 March till 29 March 2009 at The Grand Kampar Hotel, Kampar, Perak, West Malaysia.

The theme of the Camp was “Walk in Health” and it was a very apt theme as FGBMF members need to be in health so that they can preach the gospel, heal the sick and set free all those who are oppressed by the devil.

The speakers were Datuk Paul Low, Coordinator of Healing Wings Network and Bro Tee Joo Tatt, an active lay leader in the healing ministry.

The speakers touched on many subjects like the causes of diseases, sin and the spirit world, the work of the Holy Spirit, the Atonement, the Father’s Love and deliverance from the spirits of bitterness, envy, rejection and hatred.

The teachings were interspersed with practical sessions where Datuk Paul prayed over the members with prayers of deliverance. Members were encouraged to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit and if they felt the urge to cough out the demons, they can do so. Plastic bags were distributed to members who required them.

Datuk Paul emphasized the importance of living a clean and righteous life so that the devil would not have a foothold in them. He encouraged members to repent of all sins and to confess all wrongdoings immediately.

After the teaching on the Father’s love, our National President, Bro Tan Tek Seng related how the Lord put so much love in Him for his earthly father that he was able to hug his father before he died although he had never hugged his father before.

When the Camp ended, all members felt the touch of God and were determined to follow the Lord Jesus closely. They now want to walk in health and to walk in victory so that they can share the gospel with their relatives and friends.
